It's for any couple who wants to keep their relationship joyful and fun, deepen their bonds of intimacy, resolve those conflicts that keep coming up over and over again, or get support during a particularly difficult or stressful time.

I do Relationship Coaching with lesbian and gay couples because it's where my passion is. My greatest gift and most important accomplishment in my life is my relationship of 36 years with my partner, Gloria. Though it has often been painful and messy, its creation has seemed like a miracle to me . . . much like the miracle of life itself. Filled with moments of both great joy and deep sadness, we have developed a genuine intimacy that I now believe will last forever because we have learned how to renew it on a daily basis.

We have had much help along the way, including couples work with a therapist, relationship coaching, and many workshops and seminars geared towards creating harmonious and long-lasting relationships. And during some of the toughest times for us, our close circle of friends and "chosen family" have surrounded us with love and support to help get us through. We have not chosen to "go it alone."

I have also had the privilege of facilitating authentic dialogues with hundreds of couples of all sexual orientations in my psychotherapy and coaching practices over the past 30 years. Their journeys, and those of many others who have attended our workshops and seminars, have been a great source of knowledge and inspiration for me.

Building a relationship that will last a lifetime is one of life's greatest challenges. It's more than just simple good luck or good intentions. According to researchers who have studied couples of all persuasions, lesbian couples actually break up with greater frequency than any others, including gay males. How's that for challenging the stereotypes!?
